How to implement Singapore Maths into the classroom using Max Maths Primary resource (video)
 
Andrew Jeffrey, has taught for 20 years and since 2007 has been travelling the world providing consultancy services to schools seeking to improve and enrich the teaching and learning of mathematics. He is an expert in the pedagogy behind the Singapore approach, a published author and is consistently rated as one of the UKʼs top maths trainer for both UK and International schools, and holds the NCETM standard for Professional Development. He is a regular keynote speaker at conferences in the UK and aboard.

Mohi Uddin Ahmed, the founder of Singapore Maths Academy, has over 10 years’ experience in education. Mohi Uddin worked as Head of Mathematics at a prestigious independent secondary school in North West London. With the schools A*-A results at 70%, Mohi Uddin was later judged to be an ‘Outstanding’ teacher and Head of department by Ofsted. As well as being a former Edexcel examiner, Mohi Uddin was also a Headteacher at primary school for over two years. In his last year, the school achieved 100% Level 4+ in the Year 6 SATs.

Mohi Uddin went on to become a Maths consultant after leaving his headship and for the last two years has been training schools all over England and Wales on the Singapore Maths approach to teaching. Mohi Uddin has trained over 5,000 teachers in the UK and continues to be one of the figures spearheading Singapore Maths and teaching for Mastery in England.

Discovery through Enquiry with Max Science Primary: the most successful teaching methodologies used in world science today (video)

Bob Kibble, Max Science primary author, has spent his professional life in science education, first as a physics teacher in London and latterly as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. He has lectured at international conferences and has written extensively for audiences at primary and secondary level. In 2013 Bob was awarded the Bragg Medal for lifetime services to physics education by the Institute of Physics. His recent work has seen him leading the writing and editing team for Light up Science, a joint publishing venture between Macmillan and FLTRP in Beijing. For the past two years Bob has been our Editor in Chief for Max Science, a new suite of science books for learners and teachers following an international science curriculum.

Anna Hasper, Literacy consultant, is a primary teacher development specialist and consultant based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. She has been working in education for over 16 years and has worked on various projects for the British Council, International House, Ministries of Education, IDP IELTS and publishers in primary, secondary and vocational contexts. She writes online courses and blogs and delivers a variety of Cambridge accredited teacher training courses around the world. Anna has worked in a wide variety of countries such as China, Jordan, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Senegal, Morocco and Armenia. She regularly presents at international conferences and publishes in ETP & MET. Her research interests are educational psychology, teacher development and engagement in learning.
