Andrew Jeffery is an expert in the pedagogy behind the Singapore approach to
mathematics. He has written several books including two bar modelling books which
support Max Maths primary; A Singapore Approach published by Macmillan Education. He is
one of the UK’s top maths trainers and has travelled the world extensively teaching maths.



Andrew will explore the following key areas of the Bar Modelling Method:

- What is the bar modelling method?
- Why use the bar modelling method in maths?
- Techniques and strategies to effectively use the bar modelling method with primary students
