Back to school or not back to school, that seems to be the question! It is still unsure what our classroom for the new school year will look like: face-to-face, online or maybe a bit of both? Now, maybe even more so than ever, it is key that we prepare young learners to take the driver’s seat: we need to enable them to learn for themselves. This webinar will look at what learning independently means and the importance of it before exploring some practical ideas to support young learners in managing their own learning.

Macmillan Education has been advancing learning for over 175 years and we are passionate about providing you with guidance, support and inspiration on your professional development journey. As part of our Advancing Learning Academic Programme, we invite you to join a series of webinars hosted by ELT and educational experts presenting across a range of themes. All webinars are FREE to attend – all you require is an internet connection and lots of enthusiasm to take part, share and advance learning.
Over the next 6 months we are excited to celebrate Advancing Learning with a fantastic line-up of prominent experts and authors from the education and ELT world, who will host sessions covering hot topics that include developing a growth mindset amongst teachers, lessons from a polyglot and teacher wellbeing, to name a few.
